Home In Heaven
Many people have some very large, elegant homes here on Earth. But the best home anyone can ever have is a home in Heaven. It is not a home that we can rent or buy. It doesn't need repairs to be made and cannot be foreclosed on. It is a mansion in Heaven that Jesus is preparing for those who trust in him. Jesus said: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3)
Not everyone will have a home in Heaven. Only those who follow the plan God has given us in His Word will be able to enjoy the mansion Jesus Christ has purchased and is preparing for them. (John 14:6) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (Acts 4:12) "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
God wants us to know how we can have a home in Heaven waiting for us and has told how we can know in the Bible. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” (1 John 5:13)

Below are listed 5 simple steps that we can take to know that we will have a home in Heaven when we die.
1. Realize God loves you. (John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (1 John 4:9) "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."
2. Realize you and everyone since the first man, Adam, is a sinner. (Romans 5:12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 3:23) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
3. Realize sin has a price that must be paid. That price is death and separation from God. (Romans 6:23) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (John 3:36) "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
4. Realize Jesus Christ died and rose again to pay the price for your sin and provide the way of salvation. (Romans 5:8) "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (2 Corinthians 5:21) "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him"
5. Pray and ask Jesus Christ to for give you for your sin, to be your Savior, and claim His promise of eternal life. (Romans 10:9-10, 13) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (John 3:15) "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

If you have just now prayed and asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, to save you, you have become a child of God and will have a Home in Heaven with God for eternity. (Acts 2:21) "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (John 1:12) "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (I John 5:13) "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life..."
